Show me the Passion

My teacher was the one that made me believe that one's passion in a field could influence others a lot and perhaps make changes to their futures. -Erika

We know the power of what we do and how it can change lives. We know our work is more than just getting through it because we have the ability to help students achieve more than they have ever thought possible. 

We know it is not easy to do this, nor are we always going to be our best, but we do know that all the effort is worth it. 

We may not see it right away; it might be years before we do. The handful of moments that we make now may have a lasting effect on our students tomorrow.  

Even if the promise of that is never seen or even realized, we reap the benefit in the smiles of our students and the hope that they will become more than even we thought was possible.  

That is the joy and the weight of what we do.
